This was a great assignment to work on. It was a pleasure to see what the subject were passionate to their core in life. I got to here some amazing emotional stories about what drove these individuals to love what they collect.
Stefani De La O, The Handbag Lady told me about her first vintage bag purchase and how she became hooked on vintage bags with stories attached. Lauren Sturges-Fernandez, The Chanel Addict explained to me how she turned an obsession to a major fashion icon, such as Chanel into a thriving business that supports her habit to this day. Elizabeth Kane Beracasa, The Jewelry Collector showed me it was not only how much the gems sparkled, but sometimes it about the thought and love behind the creation of the piece. Keith just loves those White Superga sneaker since they fit every aspect of his life. The Textile Queen, Ms. Adrienne Bon Haes taught me that sometimes to travel is not enough. You should walk a few miles in their clothing to learn more and she does this for sure. She does it with such an incredible imagination and fair amount of fearlessness.
